Two remanded over alleged homicide of 70-year-old in Lagos

A Lagos State Justice of the Peace’s Courtroom Monday ordered that an 18-year-old, Fonmilayo Asugba, and a 22-year-old man, Kehinde Adiogo, be positioned in police custody for the alleged homicide of a 70-year-old man.

The Prosecutor, Inspector. Modobe Ulalui informed the courtroom that the defendants conspired and killed Mr. Uenoja Rabiu on November 5, at No. 7, Decide Iniola Crescent, Ecorodo, Lagos.

Olaloye mentioned that the defendants conspired with two of the deceased's home maids who’re nonetheless at giant.

In keeping with her, the perpetrators stole cash and jewellery from the deceased.

The prosecutor mentioned that the defendants helped the maids escape from the crime scene. She mentioned the offense contravened articles 223 and 221 of the Lagos State Prison Code, 2015.

Investigative Decide, Linda Balogun, ordered the ruling to maintain them within the Prison Investigation Division, Banti, Yaba, pending recommendation from Lagos State. Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
