The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, OYC, on Friday, cautioned the Indigenous Folks of Biafra, IPOB, towards justifying the “terrorist tag” on the group.
OYC made the decision in response to the latest confessions of IPOB members, who tried to detonate a dynamite on the church attended by Elder Wike, father of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Although, IPOB had insisted that its members weren’t concerned within the assault, OYC stated such an act can be “the incubation of monsters and finish of the highway for IPOB.”
The group acknowledged this in an announcement despatched to DAILY POST and signed by its President-Common, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, Comrade Obinna Achionye, Deputy President Common of OYC, and Mazi okwu Nnabuike, Secretary-Common of OYC.
OYC insisted that “it’s by no means too late for IPOB to rescind this harmful path of self destruction and retreat from making reckless statements that shall be used as a lure and large indictment towards them and Justifiable causes for anybody to consider that the terrorist tag on them was real.
“With previous IPOB’s threats and rantings, will probably be tough for them to exonerate themselves from the alleged Bombing of Wike Father’s church, and the truth that IPOB Suspects Confessed over the alleged terrorist assaults on the Church is a foul omen and IPOB is completed.”
