President Muhammadu Buhari has re-nominated Mr. Ahmed Kuru as Managing Director, Mr. Eberechukwu Uneze and Mr Aminu Ismail as Government Administrators of the Asset Administration Company of Nigeria for the ultimate time period of 5 years.
This was contained in a letter to the President of the Senate looking for affirmation of the nominees by the Higher Chamber in accordance with Part 10(1) of the AMCON Act, 2010.
Equally, in one other letter to the President of the Senate in compliance with Sections 5(4) and eight(3) of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance coverage Company (NDIC) Act, 2010, President Buhari has requested the Senate to substantiate the nominations of Mr Bello Hassan because the Managing Director, and Mr Mustapha Muhammad Ibrahim as Government Director of the company.
The 2 nominees are to succeed Mr Umaru Ibrahim and Prince Aghatise Erediuwa whose second phrases finish on December 8, 2020 as Managing Director and Government Director (Operations) respectively.
In the meantime, Hon. Omolola Abiola Edewor, is to proceed as Government Director (Company Providers) within the NDIC till her second and closing time period ends on January 24, 2021.
