Ali Ndume, Senator representing Borno South, has counseled the Nigeria Police Power, NPF, for apprehending and extraditing Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairman of the Pension Reform Activity Power Workforce.
Ndume mentioned the arrest and extradition of Maina was a sign that the pressure was not a write-off.
Addressing journalists in Abuja, the lawmaker vowed to withdraw his surety standing for Maina.
“I commend the Nigeria Police Power for executing the bench warrant issued on Maina by the Federal Excessive Courtroom in Abuja.
“This has proven that the NPF will not be a write-off. They’re professionals underneath the ready management of the Inspector Normal of Police, Mohammed Adamu.
“With the profitable arrest, extradition and subsequent remand of Maina on the Kuje Correctional Centre, I’ll proceed to direct my authorized crew to start the method of withdrawing my suretiship for Maina with quick impact as a result of his motion has proven that he’s not reliable,” he mentioned.

The ex-Pension boss was nonetheless arrested by INTERPOL and extradited again to Nigeria.
