Lagos East election: APC can’t afford to fail – Abiru says after victory

Tokunbo Mukhail Abiru, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Saturday’s Lagos East election, has acknowledged that the social gathering can’t afford to fail the citizens.

Abiru stated this in his victory speech on Sunday after the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) declared him winner of the ballot.

Noting that the election was gained with a landslide, Abiru stated, “Now that we have now secured this Senatorial mandate; we can’t afford to fail our folks.

“We can’t afford to fail those that voted for us; those that selected to not vote for us for no matter causes and people who didn’t vote in any respect. We can’t afford to betray the invaluable belief our folks reposed in us as a political social gathering and as their representatives in authorities.
