Gov Umahi sacks 4 aides for dereliction of responsibility

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has sacked 4 of his technical assistants for dereliction of responsibility.

The sack is contained in an announcement signed by Dr Kenneth Ugbala, Secretary to the State Authorities (SSG), and made obtainable to the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday.

The affected officers, based on the assertion, embody Cletus Ogbonna, John Osi, Tochukwu Ali and Olachi Arua.

“All affected officers are directed to handover all authorities property of their possession to the SSG earlier than the shut of labor on Monday, Nov. 23.

“The officers are to conform strictly with this directive,” the assertion mentioned.

DAILY POST experiences that the governor had on November 20 sacked classes of aides from Ohaukwu LGA, in an effort to “guarantee higher participation of Ebonyi folks in governance”.

The affected officers included all LGA improvement centre coordinators, government assistants, senior technical assistants, technical assistants, liaison officers and administration committee members of improvement centres.
