Lastly Umahi begs Anyim, Egwu, NASS members for forgiveness

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief Dave Umahi, on Monday, lastly tendered an unreserved apology to the previous Secretary to the Authorities of the Federation, Senator Pius Anyim and the previous Governor, Sam Ominyi Egwu on the latest feud that existed between them.

Umahi tendered the apology whereas addressing the stakeholders of the state and APC supporters on the ground-breaking of FMBN/NLC/TUC/NECA housing property that occurred at Uburu group, Ohaozara LGA of Ebonyi state.

In response to him: “let me publicly say it right here, that I’ve directed that no person ought to abuse anyone once more even when I’m abused, it goes with the job. Don’t reply to them.

“I’m the daddy of the state. And I needs to be ashamed of myself if the state of Ebonyi is allowed to enter bitterness and into disunity.

“I’ve determined to maneuver ahead. I’ve determined to forgive all and at the price of this, those that might have been damage as a result of I take duty for the actions of all my authorities officers. And for all my supporters.

“I supply apologies to them. I’m not going to sit down on the judgment with anyone. These apologies and forgiveness needs to be sufficient to settle all dangerous bloods. And I’ve no regrets for that. God directed me to do that. And I thank all our leaders who’ve intervened.

“I thank the Catholic Bishop Nnachi Okoro, I thank CAN folks led by the chairman Rev. Dr Abraham Nwali, I thank the founding fathers, I thank the Ohanaeze management led by Chief Nnia Nwodo, Uchenna Madu and all of the leaders of the south east.
